Scripture Memory Badge: Child will recite or sing a group of ten assigned Scriptures in one sitting with references. We will introduce and explain one verse each week and will also send home a CD with Verse Jingles for all 10 verses in the set we are studying. Practice at home is essential for success.
Reading Badge: Child will read or listen to books at home from a reading list provided by your teacher. There are several options and children may earn more than one badge. We will have these resources available for you to borrow or we can tell you how to order them if you are interested in building a library:
Daily Devotions Badge: Child will set aside personal time to pray and read God's Word each day for 30 days (not necessarily consecutive days.) Parent may either join child in a short devotion time or train their child to do o on their own, using audio Bibles or other resources. We will offer some handouts with suggestions and other helps, including a sticker chart, in the coming weeks.
Witness Badge: Child will either make cards sharing the Gospel message and give them to three people who don't know the Lord, or the child can tell three people a version of the Gospel.
Book Making Badge: Child will make an illustrated book on 10 Attributes of God. We will work on this in class, and children are encouraged to make pages to add to it at home. God transforms hearts as we behold His Glorious character.
Service Badge: Child will help someone in need 10 times. Examples might be holding open a door, bringing a lonely neighbor a flower, doing the dishes for a sibling overloaded with schoolwork, etc.
Ten Commandment Badge: Child will recite the Ten Commandments with hand motions.
